Marketing Consultants are the liaison between our team and our clients and are often the "face" of the company for our customers. They are also well practiced in all things digital marketing and can think quick on the fly when it comes to answering clients questions about campaigns, projects, and initiatives.
The candidate must be highly organized, proficient in managing a large volume of accounts, and able to balance multiple projects at one time.
Our Marketing Consultants work with clients weekly, helping them define their goals, build their strategies, and ensure that all project tasks are completed on time, under budget, and done exceptionally well.

NOTE: This IS a remote position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
OWN AND IMPLEMENT CLIENT CAMPAIGNS. The Marketing Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution and optimization of client marketing initiatives across digital channels. The main objective is to keep client campaigns on track and on budget while facilitating seamless communication internally and externally.
MONITOR, ANALYZE, AND OPTIMIZE. The Marketing Consultant is expected to continuously analyze client marketing initiatives. They are responsible for optimizing website performance, strategizing and creating lead generating campaigns, managing paid advertising, assisting in SEO, and more.
STRATEGIZE AND BE A PARTNER. As the primary point of contact for clients, the Marketing Consultant is expected to be a strategic partner for current, future, and new marketing campaigns. Their goal is to build partnerships through trust and reliability with Lone Fir’s clients.
HAS A “TEAM FIRST” MENTALITY. The Marketing Consultant is responsible for working inter-connectedly across departments (sales, design, development, content, and production) to complete marketing initiatives. They will also participate in any internal marketing activities as needed.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT. The digital marketing industry moves very fast, therefore it’s critical that the Marketing Consultant is obsessed with learning and interested in regularly improving their skills. Areas of focus may include website performance trends, lead generation strategies, client communication, agency trends and best practices, as well as new and emerging digital marketing trends.
REGULARLY CONTRIBUTES TO THE AGENCY’S CONTENT STRATEGY. We are our own best client, and too uphold that standard, we must do as we advise clients to do. The Marketing Consultant will be required to create editorial content for our website. We’re proud to be thought leaders in our industry so this is an opportunity for our team members to share their industry knowledge and have an important voice on all things inbound marketing. The Marketing Consultant will contribute to the overall content strategy of the agency through (but not limited to): written blogs, pillar pages, videos, webinars, etc. If done successfully, content assignments will be completed on deadline and will contribute to organic web traffic and subsequently leads for the agency.

5-8+ years of marketing experience. Whether that is a previous agency or in a marketing department, a robust experience working with design, dev, and content teams.
2-3+ years of experience strategizing and implementing the Inbound Marketing methodology
You have a strong understanding of marketing and content development in order to help our clients clarify their message and convert leads into customers.
You have an ability to turn the client's goals and our own user research into messaging and building marketing plans.
You have experience deploying a budget against a wide array of marketing channels while experimenting across new and existing channels.
You have hands-on experience utilizing the marketing tech stack: WordPress, HubSpot, Google Analytics, etc.
You have foundational HubSpot knowledge and are comfortable speaking to the core functions of HubSpot Marketing, Sales, and / or Service Hub
You have strong analytical skills and an ability to create valuable reports to drive KPIs (via. Google analytics, HubSpot, and other sources), interpret what the data means and recommend what actions to take for continuous improvement.
Experience with HubSpot (Marketing, Sales, or Service Hub) or the StoryBrand framework
Technical Skills: Working knowledge of setting up integrations, working in a CMS and providing technology recommendations (setting up and changing domains, connecting integrations, basic website changes, and updates).
Experience managing paid advertising budgets and executing campaigns with Facebook Ads Platform, Adwords, Youtube, Amazon, LinkedIn.
Strong written and verbal skills
Proven success working remotely
Comfort and familiarity in popular software including but not limited to: HubSpot, Asana, Slack, Google Apps, and any other marketing and email automation software.
