Our experience with LinkedIn outreach

Over the past six months, Lone Fir has been working hard to build a bigger LinkedIn presence. Tyler and Ashlee take this episode to discuss what works, how the platform has benefitted them and tips for doing business outreach.

Tyler kicks off the conversation by reminding us that “people still buy from people.” He’s started using the platform as a way to make himself available not only to potential clients, but to fellow agency owners as well. 

Ashlee hops on this note by adding that LinkedIn has been a great professional development resource for her as she sinks more time into the platform. “It feels like the cafeteria,” she says. “When people reach out to you or comment on your posts it’s like ‘Oh he’s talking to me! She noticed me!’’

The two also cover the value of meeting and interacting with people who you might never cross paths with in real life and the power of being genuine in all of your posts and interactions.
