Ashlee chats with Director of Operations Jessica Crosby about what it means to work in the “ever-changing world of marketing.” Emphasis on changing.

This episode is all about rolling with the punches. Ashlee opens the floor with a reminder that marketing is a fast-paced industry with lots of changes from week to week. And if you aren’t ready to adapt to those changes as they come, you could end up with campaigns falling flat and no idea why they didn’t work.

Jessica hops in with email marketing as an example. She notes a previous role where her company was utilizing email to promote most of their products, until one day it suddenly stopped working.

“Basically, the emails tanked,” she says. 

She and her team tried optimizing and testing but nothing seemed to work. So instead they started over.
