Your mindset is more important than your hard skillset.

Ashlee chats with guest speaker Jakub Grajcar, Head of Marketing at Zen Pilot, to define what makes up the best mindset for an effective marketer.

Jakub spent years wanting to be a life coach, so when he figured out how to shift his marketing mindset to something more productive he eagerly shared it with his professional network. His top advice? Stay flexible.

Jakub notes that there’s no shortage of resources that will tell you how to do things. But following that advice often leads to temporary results and marketing fatigue at the end of a campaign — a.k.a. you’re back where you started before you found the information.

He suggests marketers stop looking for other people to tell them how to accomplish something and instead start forging their own path. Don’t be afraid to experiment with your strategies and tactics to find what works best for your unique business or situation.
