Marketing Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Project Manager who can help raise the quality of our work to the next level and continue to push us, and our clients, forward.

As the Marketing Project Manager, you will drive the progress of our projects throughout the organization from initiation through delivery. In this role, you will be effectively coordinating resources, schedules, and project deliverables all while ensuring cross-departmental efficiency. If the idea of collaborating across teams to coordinate and set up large-scale marketing projects, just about anything and everything in your house is organized to a tee, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and under budget is what wakes you up in the morning, keep reading!

NOTE: This IS a remote position.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the Operations team, your daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning out small to large-scale marketing projects, ensuring all project stakeholders have tasks and resources planned out from start to finish.
  • Maintaining fluid and continuous contact with project stakeholders, coordinating resources, and providing overall project alignment.
  • Track, update and ensure project timelines are being met or for timeline changes, the correct stakeholders are looped in.
  • Work with the accounting and production departments on invoicing, and possible additional costs due to rush fees, additions to the project, or unexpected deadlines.
  • Communicating with team leads to work with freelancers and contractors, getting them up to speed on jobs they will assist with. 
  • Attending client meetings to review and/or provide updates on deliverables and projects, when needed. 
  • Take ownership of the agency’s forecasting and capacity planning tool to ensure costs, timelines, and capacity is accurate for website projects.
  • Working with the department leads to refine processes and client deliverables to ensure quality and consistency of services.
  • Conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports to communicate the status of projects to stakeholders within and beyond the project team.
  • ​​Marketing resource management, the allocation of both human and budgetary resources, is critical to being a successful Marketing Project Manager.

Your Skills:

  • 3+ years of project management experience. Whether that is a previous agency or in a marketing department, a robust experience working with design, dev, and content teams. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency and follow-through
  • Manage competing priorities and timelines across the cross-functional project team
  • Proven relationship builder with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Use multiple platforms for organizing, tracking, and managing projects. Create, manage, and communicate project timelines leveraging PM software
  • Strong written and verbal skills

Bonus For:

  • Experience with EOS & Agile methodologies
  • Proven success working remotely
  • Comfort and familiarity in popular software including but not limited to ClickUp, Parallax, Slack, and Google Apps.
