Our agency produces quality work for both national and international brands looking to clarify their brand messaging and strategically implement inbound marketing initiatives. We are seeking an experienced Inbound Marketing Strategist (HubSpot) who can help clients build complex, multi-faceted campaigns utilizing the HubSpot Growth Stack. Ultimately the person in this role will help raise the quality of our work and tier as a HubSpot Partner to the next level in addition to continuously pushing us, and our clients, forward.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

STRATEGIZE AND PARTNER. As the Inbound Marketing Strategist, you are expected to be a HubSpot strategic partner for marketing campaigns as well as sales and service initiatives. You will translate goals and objectives into strategic recommendations and tactical deliverables. Additionally, you will be responsible for hosting both client and team specific HubSpot training, to help enrich others with the knowledge of HubSpot. Your goal is to build partnerships through trust and reliability with Lone Fir’s HubSpot clients.

MONITOR, ANALYZE, AND OPTIMIZE. The Inbound Marketing Strategist is expected to continuously analyze client marketing initiatives. They are responsible for strategizing marketing campaigns, making continuous optimizations, developing sales and service pipelines, assisting in the implementation, and more.

STRATEGIZE AND BE A PARTNER. As the primary point of contact for clients, the Marketing Consultant is expected to be a strategic partner for current, future, and new marketing campaigns. Their goal is to build partnerships through trust and reliability with Lone Fir’s clients.

HAS A “TEAM FIRST” MENTALITY. The Strategist is responsible for working across multiple clients, communicating seamlessly with Marketing Consultants and across departments (sales, design, development, content, and production). They will also participate in any internal marketing activities as needed.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT. As an ever evolving platform, it’s critical that the Inbound Marketing Strategist stays up-to-date on HubSpot features across hubs. This may involve hosting regular connects with various HubSpot partners, attending HubSpot-specific events and conferences, taking the most recent HubSpot Academy course, and more.

  • A customer advocate! You sometimes wake up in the middle of the night with an “ah ha!” for a new client campaign initiative

  • There’s an answer out there and you know how to find it. You can think on your feet and pivot quickly in order to reach the best solution.

  • Creative and technical - while you’re able to strategize complex campaigns or initiatives you’re capable (and even eager) to implement yourself

  • You are a leader, through and through. You are very comfortable pitching and defending your work as well as your team’s work to strangers and longtime acquaintances.

  • You have a solution-oriented mindset. You’re constantly optimizing and recommending improvements to our process and how to deliver an excellent product to our clients.

Your Skills

  • 1+ years of client management experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in HubSpot
  • Hold at least 4-5 certifications in HubSpot (but you still don’t think it’s enough)
  • 3+ years of marketing experience. Whether that is a previous agency or in a marketing department, a robust experience working with design, dev, and content teams. 
  • You have the ability to turn the client's goals and our own user research into messaging and building marketing plans
  • You have hands-on experience utilizing the marketing tech stack: WordPress, Hubspot, Google Analytics, etc.
  • You have strong analytical skills and an ability to create valuable reports to drive KPIs  (via. Google analytics, Hubspot, and other sources), interpret what the data means, and recommend what actions to take for continuous improvement.

 

Bonus For

  • Experience with the StoryBrand framework
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of setting up integrations, working in a CMS and providing technology recommendations (setting up and changing domains, connecting integrations, basic website changes, and updates).

  • Proven success working remotely

  • Comfort and familiarity in popular software including but not limited to: HubSpot, ClickUp, Slack, Google Apps, and any other marketing and email automation software.
