We are seeking an experienced Account Management Team Lead who can help raise the quality of our work to the next level and continue to push our team and our clients forward.

The Account Management Team Lead is the liaison between our team and our clients and is often the "face" of the company for our customers. They are also well practiced in all things digital marketing and can think quickly on the fly when it comes to answering clients' questions about campaigns, projects, and initiatives. The Account Management Team Lead will work with clients weekly, helping them define their goals, build their strategies, and monitor metrics and KPIs for success. This candidate will also ensure that all project tasks are completed on time, under budget, and done exceptionally well. 

In addition to client work, a major component of the Account Management Team Lead’s role is to manage the team of Marketing Consultants under the direction of the Director of Client Services.

MANAGE/COACH. The Account Management Team Lead oversees members of the client service team (Marketing Consultants) by conducting new employee onboarding, ongoing training, and mentoring staff. The Account Management Team Lead will also be responsible for cultivating client relationships with medium to high profile clients from an additional support perspective. This role is also responsible for being a liaison between multiple departments within the agency and work with other department Team Leads for effective communication between departments to ensure client work is being delivered on time and on budget. 

OWN AND IMPLEMENT CLIENT CAMPAIGNS. The Account Management Team Lead is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution and optimization of client marketing initiatives across digital channels. The main objective is to keep client campaigns on track and on budget while facilitating seamless communication internally and externally.

MONITOR, ANALYZE, AND OPTIMIZE. The Account Management Team Lead is expected to continuously analyze client marketing initiatives. They are responsible for optimizing website performance, strategizing and creating lead-generating campaigns, managing paid advertising, assisting in SEO, and more.

STRATEGIZE AND BE A PARTNER. As the primary point of contact for clients, the Account Management Team Lead is expected to be a strategic partner for current, future, and new marketing campaigns. Their goal is to build partnerships through trust and reliability with Lone Fir’s clients.

HAS A “TEAM FIRST” MENTALITY. The Account Management Team Lead is responsible for working interconnectedly across departments (sales, design, development, content, and production) to complete marketing initiatives. They will also participate in any internal marketing activities as needed.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT. The digital marketing industry moves very fast; therefore, it’s critical that the Account Management Team Lead is obsessed with learning and interested in regularly improving their skills. Areas of focus may include website performance trends, lead generation strategies, client communication, agency trends, and best practices, as well as new and emerging digital marketing trends. 

REGULARLY CONTRIBUTES TO THE AGENCY’S CONTENT STRATEGY. We are our own best client, and to uphold that standard, we must do as we advise clients to do. The Account Management Team Lead will be required to create editorial content for our website. We’re proud to be thought leaders in our industry, so this is an opportunity for our team members to share their industry knowledge and have an important voice on all things inbound marketing. The Account Management Team Lead will contribute to the overall content strategy of the agency through (but not limited to): written blogs, pillar pages, videos, webinars, etc. If done successfully, content assignments will be completed on deadline and will contribute to organic web traffic and, subsequently, leads for the agency.

  • 5+ years of marketing experience. Whether that is a previous agency or in a marketing department, a robust experience working with design, dev, and content teams. 
  • 2-3 + years of experience leading account management teams or working in a capacity that supports the growth of team member’s skills and professional development
  • You have the skill set necessary for coaching and leading a team of other marketing professionals. 
  • You have a strong understanding of marketing and content development to help our clients clarify their message and convert leads into customers.
  • You can turn the client's goals and our user research into messaging and building marketing plans
  • You have experience deploying a budget against a wide array of marketing channels while experimenting across new and existing channels.
  • You have hands-on experience utilizing the marketing tech stack: WordPress, Hubspot, Google Analytics, etc.
  • You have foundational HubSpot knowledge and are comfortable speaking to the core functions of HubSpot Marketing, Sales, and/or Service Hub.
  • You have strong analytical skills and an ability to create valuable reports to drive KPIs  (via. Google analytics, Hubspot, and other sources), interpret what the data means, and recommend what actions to take for continuous improvement.


  • Experience with StoryBrand framework
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of setting up integrations, working in a CMS and providing technology recommendations (setting up and changing domains, connecting integrations, basic website changes, and updates). 
  • Experience managing paid advertising budgets and executing campaigns with Facebook Ads Platform, Adwords, Youtube, Amazon, and LinkedIn. 
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Proven success working remotely
  • Comfort and familiarity in popular software including but not limited to: HubSpot, Asana, Slack, Google Apps, and any other marketing and email automation software.
